The ISR group and four research groups from ZHAW will work together on LIFESAVING (Extending the lifespan of mobile devices), a project of the National Research Programme “Sustainable Economy” (NRP 73).

Extending the service life of smartphones and other Internet-enabled mobile devices could significantly reduce their ecological footprint. In pursuit of this, the project aims to develop approaches that are both economically viable and appealing to consumers.
