Short Bio

I am a PhD student in the Dynamic and Distributed Information Systems (DDIS) group, working on the RareSim project. My research focuses on computational methods for rare-disease diagnosis, including phenotype extraction from clinical texts, ontology- and embedding-based similarity measures, and interactive human-in-the-loop systems.

I hold a Master of Science (MSc) in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Zurich, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2024, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences. My broader research interests include Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Knowledge Representation, with an emphasis on methods that translate into real-world clinical impact.
