Pooja Rani appointed to Professorship in Mannheim
We are delighted to congratulate our IfI postdoc Pooja Rani on her next career step.
In 2022, Pooja Rani joined first as Senior Researcher at the Zurich Empirical Software Engineering Team and later worked at the Software Evolution and Architecture Lab. Now she will become a Professor at the University of Mannheim starting in April 2026. We wish her every success in her new position!
In her research at the Department of Informatics, she examined the design of software source code to highlight the resources consumed by it and associated software quality challenges, thereby enabling users to be more conscious of their usage, e.g., when performing AI queries.
At the University of Mannheim, Pooja Rani will focus on green software engineering and the use of AI to automate software quality assurance.
