Giorgia Ramponi: Top 100+ Women in AI & Data – Switzerland 2025
Congratulations! Giorgia Ramponi, Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics, has been named one of the Top 100+ Women in AI & Data – Switzerland 2025.

Giorgia Ramponi joined the Department of Informatics at the University of Zürich as Assistant Professor in February 2024, where she heads the Autonomous Learning and Predictive Intelligence Lab (ALPI).
Her current research focuses on developing reinforcement learning for multi-agent systems involving many agents, imitation learning methods with theoretical guarantees, and unifying different RL feedbacks into a single paradigm. Giorgia is particularly interested in applying these approaches to domains such as transportation, robotics, and economic markets.
The Top 100+ list also features Irina Todoran Koitz, a former PhD student, and Ning Wang, a former senior researcher at the Department of Informatics.
