For the project
VISS: Visualization Infrastructure for Scalable Scientific Computing , the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF) has awarded Prof. Pajarola a 3-year research grant. As part of this project a scalable parallel rendering toolkit will be developed as well as efficient and automatic load-balancing strategies for large-scale scientific visualization.
