Short Bio

I joined the Dynamic and Distributed Information Systems (DDIS) research group at the University of Zurich as a PhD student in September 2025. I recently completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Zurich, graduating Summa Cum Laude in December 2024. Previously, I earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen in April 2021. Before beginning my doctoral studies, I completed an internship in Generative AI at Detecon Switzerland, where I developed agentic workflows.

My PhD research focuses on advancing the field of Generative AI in the context of personalized news recommender systems. Specifically, I am investigating how generative-driven recommendation systems can be designed to incorporate principles of fairness, accountability, trustworthiness, and transparency. Through this work, I aim to contribute to the development of recommender systems that are not only technically innovative but also socially responsible. The research I conduct contributes to the Informfully project.
