This thesis investigates trading digital assets on roll-ups, the latest innovation in layer-2 blockchains. In the first step , the test environment is established, leveraging the framework for privat  roll-ups based on zero-knowlege proofs. Next, copies of DeFi protocols are deployed for trading purposes. Subsequently, performance assessments are conducted to ascertain the resilience of the network under various conditions.

Simultaneously, artificial intelligence and machine learning models are deployed to optimize the parameters of the DeFi protocols, aiming to maximize profits. The test tokens in this project include central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) like digital EUR and digital CHF, tokenized financial assets, and cryptocurrencies.
