Caspar Schwarz-Schilling Research Associate |
| Caspar Schwarz-Schilling holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Zurich and is currently completing his master's degree in Economics and Data Science (UZH). In his master thesis with the title "Agent-based modelling of strategic behavior in blockchain-based consensus protocols" he investigated an attack vector, referred to as "Selfish Mining", in the context of Bitcoin. Further, he has worked as a Teaching Assistant to Prof. Claudio Tessone for two lectures: Network Science for Business, Economics, Informatics and Social Sciences and Agent-based Modelling for Business, Economics an Social Science. His core research interests lie at the intersection of game theory, agent-based modelling and blockchain protocol security. |
