The Faculty of Economics, Business Administration, and Information Technology of the University of Zurich confers an honorary doctorate upon Prof. Thomas Malone, PhD, in recognition of the importance and diversity of his scientific contributions to the interaction between information technology and economic sciences, particularly the influence of information technology on market structures, coordination problems, and collective intelligence.

IfI celebrated the event with a special seminar in honor of Tom Malone.
