Dacuda and Volumental unveil printable 3D-selfies using Intel powered tablets using RPG's dense-3D-reconstruction software
Computer vision companies Dacuda and Volumental have teamed up to unveil the world's first mobile application for easily creating printable 3D selfies by simply capturing video on a mobile tablet. The early prototype is being demonstrated at the Mobile World Congress.
This work was generated from a collaboration with the Robotics and Perception lab and it features their real-time dense reconstruction pipeline REMODE.
