Best Paper Award for Liudmila Zavolokina, Kilian Sprenkamp and Birgit Schenk

Congratulations!
The paper «Citizens' Expectations about Achieving Public Value and the Role of Digital Technologies: It Takes Three to Tango!» has won the Best Paper Award in the Digital Government track at the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS).
Governments worldwide are under pressure to accelerate their digital transformation to meet the needs of the digital society while providing public value. Studies have increasingly recognized the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors for successful public value creation. The research by Liudmila Zavolokina, Kilian Sprenkamp and Birgit Schenk examines the idea of collaboration from a citizens' perspective and highlights the need for joint efforts and the importance of citizens' engagement for optimal public value creation. They identify ways to achieve this and the digital technologies supporting this process.
