Claudio Tessone: Indo-Swiss Blockchain Forum 2026
In collaboration with the University of Zurich (UZH), the Rashtriya Raksha University hosted an international conference bridging decentralized technology and national security. Claudio Tessone joined the opening panel and later delivered the opening lecture.
The three-day forum brought together experts from academia, industry, and compliance to discuss the security-first approach to blockchain adoption. The exchange focused on the practical applications of blockchain in these areas: Financial Regulation, Forensics, and Security. Claudio Tessone presented the current activities in Blockchain Analytics and Forensics.
Claudio Tessone's research group contributed several key findings: Benjamin Kraner discussed DeFi potentials and limits, and Eiman Al-Amri discussed the current legal landscape and how coherent legal frameworks can accelerate blockchain innovation. There were further (online) interventions by Dr. Sheng-Nan Li (Cryptoeconomics), Dr. Tao Yan (Market risks), and Parminder Kaur Makode (Governance).
Later, the representatives of UZH visited Gujarat International Finance Techno-City, where they intervened in a panel discussion with key figures of the National Reserve Bank of India and the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) about the potential of regulated blockchain. The event concluded with a visit to the NSE International Exchange, discussing with the CEO the potential for blockchain-based applications in financial markets.
