Short bio:

I have received my bachelor degree in informatics from the University of Zurich in 2016 and continued my master studies at UZH with focus on data science. I entered the Fast Track program at the DDIS Group at the beginning of 2018 and finished my master studies in August 2018.

September 2018, I started my PhD and also the Grundausbildung in Bühnentanz ZTTS (dance diploma in modern and contemporary dance) and I dedicate half of my time to each until March 2020. Since then, I am focusing solely on my PhD studies.

Research Interest:

I am currently working on the evolution of ontologies and knowledge graphs and how evolution affects downstream tasks. This project is called CHIMP. So far, I have focused on the logical entailment (materialization) and embeddings. My research also includes ontology feature extraction used in the prediction of the impact. Thanks to a master student, my research is also integrated into a Protégé Plugin, which visualizes changes for ontology engineers, while they are editing an ontology.

Further, I am also interested in stream processing. I have previously worked on a platform that enables the combination and analysis of heterogeneous data streams in one system.

Open topics for students can be found on the topic's site.
