Robotics researcher Davide Scaramuzza warns about deadly consequences of using drones and Artificial Intelligence for warfare.
Armies and companies are developing AI-based weapons systems. Researchers such as Davide Scaramuzza are alarmed and press for a more effective regulation of such research. Together with many colleagues he signed a letter to the Federal Council, asking the government to ensure that algorithms are never allowed to decide on the life or death of people.
