The Computation and Economics Research Group was founded by Prof. Dr. Sven Seuken in September 2011. Our research lies at the intersection of computer science and game theory with a focus on the design of electronic markets (like eBay, Uber, or AirBnB). We are interested in questions such as how to design market platforms that work well, or how to repair market platforms that are broken. Our specialty is to combine techniques from microeconomics and game theory with techniques from computer science in the design and analysis of markets. For more details, please see our publications.
