Java Programmer Big Data streams

In the scope of the EU FP7 funded project ViSTA-TV we are looking for a Java Application Developer (100%)

The position is to be filled as soon as possible. The contract will be limited to May 31, 2014.

Hard requirements:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
• Very good command of the English language both in speaking and in writing.
• Good skills in programming in Java or any equivalent language.

Soft requirements:

• Experience in the development of stream processing systems.
• Knowledge of Semantic Web and relational database technologies is considered a plus.
• Command of the German language is considered a plus.
