Government as a Platform: Enhancing Crisis Response through Multi-Stakeholder Data Sharing

As a part of project Government as a Platform we offer a master thesis, which will investigate the question of what role data sharing plays in orchestrating stakeholders in crisis situations through digital platforms in the canton of Zurich.

Approach & Goals

This master thesis will be accomplished in a collaboration with a Swiss startup TrustRelay, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform to manage data-sharing between organization. The goal of the project will be to investigate how TrustRelay data-sharing solution can enhance collaboration capabilities of various stakeholders in crisis situations.  

Requirements

For this thesis, we are looking for students with the following profile:

  • ongoing master studies in information systems, business informatics or computer science. 
  • the working level of English; knowledge of German is beneficial but not mandatory. 
  • interest in digital platforms, eGovernment, data-sharing solutions, and platform creation. 
  • creativity and interest in finding digital solutions for a real-life challenge.
