Research and Project Focus
Aman Kumar is a researcher in Visual Analytics, Interactive Machine Learning, and Human-centred AI. He studies how people make complex decisions with data and how models can capture and explain evolving user preferences. His recent work builds human-in-the-loop visual analytics systems that combine preference elicitation, uncertainty visualization, and LLM-powered explanations to produce more transparent, trustworthy rankings and recommendations. Short Bio
Aman earned an MSc in Business Analytics & Decision Sciences (Distinction) from the University of Leeds and a BS-MS dual degree in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal. He currently collaborates with the IVDA group at the University of Zurich, where he develops interactive decision-support tools that model rich user feedback.
