Research and Project Focus

Aman Kumar is a researcher in Visual Analytics, Interactive Machine Learning, and Human-centred AI. He studies how people make complex decisions with data and how models can capture and explain evolving user preferences. His recent work builds human-in-the-loop visual analytics systems that combine preference elicitation, uncertainty visualization, and LLM-powered explanations to produce more transparent, trustworthy rankings and recommendations. Short Bio

Aman earned an MSc in Business Analytics & Decision Sciences (Distinction) from the University of Leeds and a BS-MS dual degree in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal​​​​​​. He currently collaborates with the IVDA group at the University of Zurich, where he develops interactive decision-support tools that model rich user feedback.
