Dietrich Christopeit

Dietrich Christopeit is a research assistant and doctoral student at the University of Zurich in the Database Technology Research Group working on his doctoral thesis under the supervision of Prof. Michael Böhlen.

He was born in Gummersbach, a small village in North Rhine-Westphalia but quickly moved to a village near Munich in Bavaria. Dietrich Christopeit got his diploma in computer sciences from the Technical University of Munich in August 2004.

After working for two years for a Danish cryptology company as solutions architect he had the chance to start his doctoral thesis in October 2006 in the Database Technology Research Group.
