My research interests are focused on the idea of making software development process more efficient with smarter team collaboration tools. It includes building deeper understanding of developer collaboration through studying user demands and identifying bottlenecks in existing processes, and proposing approaches for the future generation of developer tools to efficiently utilize historical records of developers' activity and communication. At the moment I am focusing on code review process and tools.
Prior to starting the PhD journey, I worked for 2 years as a software developer at JetBrains in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
I got a M.Sc. degree in Software Engineering from the Academic University of the Russian Academy of Sciences in 2015. Before that, in 2013 I obtained a Bachelor degree in Astrophysics from Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.
