While at the beginning of my career I started by working in the Software Engineering field, for my PhD I focused more on HCI and Web Engineering topics. More in detail, I studied the use of alternative interaction techniques on mobile web applications (e.g.: motion and mid-air gestures) in single and cross-device environments. At ZEST I would like to merge these two interests and therefore, study the HCI aspect of SE.
You can find out more about my work at this link.
Prior to joining the ZEST group, I have worked at ETH Zurich as a PhD student and teaching assistant under the supervision of Professor Moira Norrie. At ETH I have helped with the design and organization of Web Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Informatik (basics of Computer Science for mathematicians and physicists), Mobile and Personal Information System classes.
In 2013, I completed my Master Studies in Computer Science cum laude at the University of Salerno.
