Martin Glinz has won the ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Service Award 2016. The award presentation ceremony took place at ICSE 2016 in Austin, Texas.

SIGSOFT is the ACM special interest group on all aspects of software development. It was founded in 1976 and its activities attract both academics and practitioners. The Distinguished Service Award is presented to an individual who has contributed dedicated and important service to the software engineering community.
