Martin Volk spricht unter anderem darüber, wie ChatGPT das Schreiben von Seminararbeiten unterstützen kann und weshalb ethische Fragestellungen in der Informatik zugenommen haben.
Im Interview mit der Netzwocke erklärt Martin Volk: «Ich bin sehr dafür, dass wir solche Werkzeuge aktiv in die Lehre und Forschung einbeziehen. Unsere Studierenden müssen lernen, solche Systeme nutzbringend einzusetzen und den Output kritisch zu hinterfragen, zu adaptieren und für ihre Zwecke zielgenau einzusetzen. Die Fähigkeit, solche Text-Manipulationssysteme urteilssicher zu nutzen, wird ein wichtiger Bestandteil der digitalen Kompetenz».
