Joachim Scholderer has been a member of the Informatics and Sustainability Research Group since 2016. Besides his activities at UZH, he is Professor of Innovation Management at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) and Professor of Quantitative Methods at Aarhus University (Denmark). From 2015 to 2017, he was Research Director of the Center for Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (CCRS) at the University of Zurich. In addition, he has had teaching appointments at the universities of Athens, Basel, Copenhagen and Tromsø. His research interests include machine learning, digital business transformation, probabilistic methods for risk and impact assessment, and sustainable business strategy. Joachim has been involved in numerous third party funded projects, including 17 EU Framework Programme projects plus nationally funded ones in Denmark, Greece, Finland, Ireland, Germany, Hungary, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Tanzania, and the UK. At present, he coordinates the UZH activities in the Horizon 2020 project SafeConsumE.
