Vinzenz Thoma
Short Bio
Since September 2022, Vinzenz is a Doctoral Fellow at the ETH AI Center, jointly advised by Prof. Sven Seuken and Prof. Niao He. He obtained a BSc in Mathematics from ETH Zürich and a MSc in Mathematics and Foundations of Computer Science from the University of Oxford. For his Master's thesis, which was supervised by Prof. Michael Wooldridge, he designed and implemented a networked multi-agent reinforcement learning algorithm to learn linear temporal logic specifications. Before starting his PhD, Vinzenz worked as a Data Science Trainee at the European Central Bank on measuring systemic risk in financial networks. During his studies he was also a Research Analyst at Parsumo Capital in Zürich.

Mechanism Design, Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning, Algorithmic Game Theory, Market Design.
