The Business Intelligence (BI) Research Group was founded by Prof. Dr. Daning Hu in January 2012. Our research lies at the intersection of network science and business intelligence. Our application domains include financial risk management, social media analytics, marketing, and open source innovation. We first intend to derive analytical and empirical insights from the analyses of various real-world networks such as organization networks, communication networks, and social networks. Based on such insights, we aim to develop network-based business intelligence techniques and information systems for supporting decision making in various business domains.
