SpikeSorting

Spike sorting is part of the process of analyzing data from MultiElectrodeArrays. These devices make a number of simultaineous extracellular recordings from different locations. Each extracellular electrode is usually picking up signals from a number of nearby neurons. Spike sorting is the process of trying to tell which spike came from which neuron.
