Information about the Program
This program covers the intensified and advanced study of computer science and informatics. It educates the advanced student for promising scientific research and advanced industry positions. The program offers a broad range of elective courses in computer science as well as integrates other lectures across all university disciplines.
The masters program offers three specializations:
Information Systems: You learn how to manage an IT-department, how to analyze and use business information efficiently and effectively, and how to develop and use informations systems in a business context.
Software Systems: You learn how to develop complex software systems professionally. This includes requirements engineering and software construction as well as the development and use of database systems. This specialization can be completed entirely in English.
Multimodal and Cognitive Systems: The students will learn to understand the behavior of life-like systems and robots as well as to model and visualize complex information. Interaction with intelligent systems is also a core topic. This specialization can be completed entirely in English.
The masters program in computer science requires 120 ECTS points corresponding to four full-time semesters. The entry requirements consist of a university BSc degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
