The MultiMedia Laboratory (MML) was founded in 1986. Its objective is to do research and advanced development work in multimedia-based information system design, application prototyping, and media management. Most of the ongoing research and application development projects are of interdisciplinary nature. They include collaboration with disciplines of the human-ities and natural science, such as economics and finance, computational musicology, geographic information systems, radiology, anthropology, cranio-maxillo facial surgery, etc.
