Merlin - OEC Faculty Information System

The Faculty of Economics, Business Administration and IT (WWF) at the University of Zurich is certified by European (EQUIS) and American (AACSB) accreditation institutes. These accreditations require yearly self-assessment reports containing information about publications, scientific staff, research and teaching activities. In the past, gathering this information was a manual task. To improve this process, the idea for a Web-based Faculty Information System called Merlin was formed. Its main purpose is to be a centralized repository for employees and academic data.
