Welcome to the software evolution & architecture lab (s.e.a.l.) of the Department of Informatics (IfI) at the University of Zurich. We conduct research and teaching in software engineering with a particular emphasis on long-term software evolution of large software systems.

Our research interests include software engineering and software analysis, focusing on software evolution, software quality, software architecture, collaborative software engineering, and service-centric software systems.

We are probably best known for our work on software evolution analysis and mining software archives.

Job Opportunity: WEB DEVELOPER (student job, 40-60%)

We are looking for motivated and skilled web developers to join our team. We are interested in people to help us to further extend the Faculty Information System named Merlin (http://www.merlin.uzh.ch). The focus is on implementing means for reporting of academic achievements (publications, awards, services, etc.) and teaching duties for the levels of chairs, departments, and faculty. The job includes requirements engineering, architectural design, programming, testing, and continuous integration for our Web application.
