- Purpose:
- Discussion of all topics related to the concurrent design, or
co-design, of the hardware and software components of a
digital system. Subscribers may find questions / answers to
computer-aided co-design methods and tools, to concurrent
specification, validation and synthesis of hardware and software,
and related subjects. The mailing list is also a good place to find
and to distribute announcements for related conferences, tools and
publications. See below for postings distributed
so far.

- The list was first created to continue discussions started at
the NATO ASI on
Hardware / Software Co-design held in 1995 in Tremezzo, Italy.
The address codesign@ifi.unizh.ch is a mail reflector that
forwards mail sent to it to all people on the list. Currently,
over 200 people from both industry and academia are subscribed.

- To subscribe, send a mail to
codesign-request@ifi.unizh.ch with the word
subscribe in the subject or in the body of the mail.
Once subscribed, you can post a message by sending email to
codesign@ifi.unizh.ch with any subject and body you want.
If you are no longer interested in the mails distributed through
the list, send a mail with the word unsubscribe in the
subject or in the body to codesign-request.
