Rico Sennrich wins a Mercator Award for his research on "Domain-specific Statistical Machine Translation". With the Mercator Awards, the Graduate Campus annually awards a research prize for outstanding young academics at the University of Zurich. The prize aims at research projects of societal relevance using inter- or transdisciplinary approaches.
