In memoriam Klaus R. Dittrich

We are saddened and shocked by the sudden death of Klaus R. Dittrich on November 20, 2007. He died of a severe stroke.

We will keep Klaus in our memories as a good friend and colleague, as a caring and engaged group head and advisor, and as a truly outstanding database researcher. He leaves a void that will be difficult to fill.

We have set up this memorial site for Klaus' colleagues, students, and friends to gather, mourn, and celebrate this outstanding person.
