Christian joined the ZPAC lab as a PhD student and defended his dissertation in early 2017. His research focused on sustainability in HCI, in particular how research in HCI and Ubiquitous Computing can inform the design of consumer electronics for a more sustainable future.
Before joining ZPAC, he graduated from the RWTH Aachen University, where his thesis work dealt with the lack of guidelines in the domain of interactive tabletops by successfully introducing an HCI design pattern language.
As part of the UbiComp 2013 conference, he built an SV Doodle tool that helped to make the life as SV co-chairs much easier. If you are SV chair for an upcoming conference have a look at it here
