Christian joined the ZPAC lab as a PhD student in December 2010. He graduated from the RWTH Aachen University, where his thesis work dealt with the lack of guidelines in the domain of interactive tabletops by successfully introducing an HCI design pattern language.
His current research focuses on sustainability in HCI, in particular how research in HCI and Ubiquitous Computing can inform the design of consumer electronics for a more sustainable future. For more information, take a look at the project website.
As part of the UbiComp 2013 conference, I built an SV Doodle tool that helped to make our life as SV co-chairs much easier. If you are SV chair for an upcoming conference I urge you to have a look at it here!
