Bachelor Studies

Due to Prof. Hilty's retirement in summer 2024, the supervision of bachelor's theses is only possible in exceptional cases.

Courses at Bachelor Level

  • Lecture: Informatik, Ethik und Gesellschaft (3 ECTS) 
    This lecture is held in German and introduces ethical and social questions of technological development and shows their relevance for informatics and digitalization.
    Next and last implementation: Spring Semester 2024
  • Lecture*): Wirtschaftsinformatik I (3 ECTS, each Spring Semester)
    In this lecture, held in German, the ISR Group is responsible for the learning units on ethics and safety. These parts are currently held by Dr. Jan Bieser.
  • Seminar: Paradigmen der Informatik.
    This course is held in German.

    Students prepare and moderate panel discussions with the invited speakers and experts.
    Held in cooperation with the Right Livelihood Center by Dr. Jeannette Behringer and Dr. Aline Steinbrecher every Spring Semester.
