Cosmin Basca

I have an Engineer Diploma and a MSc from Hermann Oberth ULB Sibiu, Romania, in the field of computer vision. Later I joined Digital Enterprise Research Institute in Galway, Ireland where I worked in Semantic Web. Since September 2009 I am a PhD candidate and research assistant in the DDIS group @UZH.

I am interested in large scale indexing and querying of typed graphs, high performance computing and software engineering. In my spare time I like to work on open-source projects (look me up on github), visit new places and take pictures with clasic cameras.
