Short Bio
Sven Seuken is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics of the University of Zurich and head of the Computation and Economics Research Group. His research lies at the intersection of Computer Science and Economics. His goal is to design market-based electronic systems that have good economic and computational properties.
Before coming to Zurich in September 2011, Sven was a Ph.D. student in the EconCS group at Harvard University where he worked with David C. Parkes. He got his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Harvard in 2011, an M.S. degree from Harvard in 2008, an M.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2006, and a pre-diploma from the University of Freiburg in 2003.
