Overview

This interdisciplinary lecture provides an introduction to the discipline of artificial life, as well as a general overview of the topic. In addition to the theoretic lecture, the student shall have the opportunity to further his/her understanding of the subject through the completion of a semester project.

The topics covered are, among others:

Special attention shall be devoted to the interrelations between these topics, and other subject matters, such as biology, economy, and artificial intelligence.

Semester project

The semester project is to be completed in groups or individually. (Deadline not yet fixed).
