My name is Dale Thomas and I was born in Bury St. Edmunds in Suffolk, England. I lived in Norfolk until I was 21 at which time I went to the University of Reading, Berkshire. I recieved a BSc with honours in Cybernetics and Control Engineering in 2000 and since then I have been working in Zürich toward my PhD.

The beautiful creature above happens to be unfortunate enough to be married to me. Her name is Erina and she is from Osaka, Japan. You can find her bizarre homepage here.
We met while I was studying in Reading University. She was also studying in Reading, at a Japanese college called Gyosei. We were in the same hall of residence and met through mutual friends. I still can't imagine why she said 'yes'. Her hobbies are being cute and Taiko.

This is the other love in my life. This beautiful beast is my trike and unfortunately, I do not get to ride it much these days. It is back in England rusting away while I sit in Zürich pining for it. It was built by my father for my older brother Neil, but I inherited it when my father built a bigger one (1800cc) for Neil.
The front forks and fuel tank are from a Kawasaki motorbike and the engine (950cc), gearbox, back suspension and axle are taken from an old Robin Reliant (don't laugh). Anyway, there is nothing better than zooming along the lonely open roads of rural England on a little beastie such as this. Three wheels for me until my dying day!
