About

Max not long time ago After almost 5 years of Japan, I am back at the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory of the University of Zurich. Before coming back to Zurich I spent some time at the Institute for Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), and at The University of Tokyo, more specifically, at the Laboratory for Intelligent Systems and Informatics. I also worked a bit at one of the excellent Sony laboratories. I have a wide range of research interests, which are all directly or indirectly related to understanding better the mechanisms underlying intelligent behavior, and how the application of such knowledge can be mapped onto technological innovation. The ultimate (very long-term) goal is to make a lot of money and retire on some pacific island (preferably a warm place). P.S. I apologize for the many missing links, but the site is under construction. I am working on it in my spare spare time. For questions, comments, suggestions, constructive ideas, but also criticism, please do not hesitate to contact me!
