FuzzyLogic

Fuzzy logic is a system of approximate reasoning. For example, rules drivers employ when
making decisions about how fast to go might include:

“If the traffic is light then I will drive fast”
“If the weather is bad then I will drive slow”

Fuzzy logic provides ways for:

• modelling terms like “traffic is light”, “drive fast”, “drive slow”, “weather is bad” using FuzzySets?
• FuzzyInference? mechanisms which relate predicates to consequences.
